High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World! (Episode 5) – It Seems Akatsuki’s Becoming God Akatsuki!

With Marquis Findolf out of the picture, Tsukasa enlists Akatsuki to play the role of a god to unit the region and remove it from the Emperor’s rule. And if you have a god, you’re going to need some angels!

It Seems Akatsuki’s Becoming God Akatsuki!

Tsukasa has decided that the best way to unite the people will be to give them a religion. They also used the name of an extinct religion that has links to the seven heroes, hoping that someone may approach them. So with Akatsuki posing as a god, they take over Dormundt and turn it into its own country, complete with the mayor and a new order of holy knights.

Tsukasa has even set his sights on a new commander of the holy knights only he doesn’t want the job for fears over how the Emperor will react. However, Tsukasa manages to convince him that if they are to create a nation where all are equal then he needs the people to want that as much as he does.

While the group play at gods and angels, Shinobu and Elch have crossed the snowy mountains to learn about their opponents and plan for the coming days. Of course, the Emperor isn’t going to allow a part of his lands to just split off on their own without a fight and it looks like he’s sending one of his strongest warriors!

Episode Thoughts

I really enjoyed this episode and it had nothing to do with the bunny girl costumes… all right, it certainly helped. This series is a lot of fun, but it does require a lot of suspension of disbelief. If you are fine with that, then you’ll probably love it too. I know I talk a lot about Lyrule and Winona, but Keine has been popping up on my waifu radar as of late and once more, she makes a stunning appearance. The Doctor will see you now!!!
