Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks? (Episode 1) – The Boy Thought He Was Embarking on a Great Adventure… But, Uh, What’s Going on Here?
It’s another new series and another insanely long title and episode title, but none of that matters when the idea is so refreshing. Lynn will be covering the ups and downs of Masato and his mother, Mamako after they’ve been pulled into a fantasy world. After just one episode, Mamako could become one of the best anime Moms. Only time will tell, but she does have a couple of powerful assets… I mean attacks!
Why the hell are you here, Teacher!? (Season One)
This is the last post for Why the hell are you here, Teacher!? Lynn has had a lot of fun covering this series and is devastated to see it come to an end. Thankfully, Mamako will be around to reassure Lynn. There’s also the uncensored version to look forward to, so who knows, this may not be the final post. Either way, you really should check it out.
How Not to Summon a Demon Lord (Episode 3) – Fallen Assault
Lynn is back with episode three of How Not to Summon a Demon Lord and it appears to be just as good the second time around. In this episode, Edelgard joins the cast which is obviously a good thing but don’t worry, there’s still plenty of Shera and Rem.
Sekirei (Episode 7) – Sekirei Plan Phase 2
Things are ramping up as MBI secures control of the entire city, ensuring that no Sekirei can leave. Now that every Sekirei has an Ashkabi, it’s time to move onto phase 2 of the Sekirei plan – turn the city into a warzone for Sekirei. Naturally, all that with a strong ecchi component as this is Sekirei after all!

HenSuki: Would You Love a Pervert as Long as She’s Cute? (Episode 2) – Another Girl Enters The Picture!
Keiki has managed to regain his composure after Sayuki’s surprise confession, but it’s not over yet! He goes on a date with Yuika and has a great time. After the date, she wants to meet with him… alone. And just like with Sayuki, Yuika has a confession of her own!
Ao-chan Can’t Study (Episode 12) – Ao-chan Can’t Study
It’s another sad moment for Lynn as this is the final episode of Ao-chan Can’t Study. Lower on the ecchi scale, but with a fun and engaging story, Ao-chan has definitely been a show worth watching. And at just twelve minutes an episode, it’s easy to fit into your busy life, leaving lots of room for studying… or whatever else you want to do!
Magical Sempai (Episode 3) – Sempai Has a Sister?
Magical Sempai drags Assistant-kun to the faculty office in order to officially register the magic club! Inside we discover that Magical Sempai has an older sister! In addition, you can expect more of the usual antics in this episode of Magical Sempai!
Waifu of the Week (#6) – Magical Sempai!
Yomu chooses the wacky Magical Sempai as Waifu of the Week #6! She’s not very good at magic tricks, but after a few episodes, she’s managed to win our heart as an iconic and fun ecchi character that is worthy of a waifu position!
Are You Lost? (Episode 3) – Master of the Island
The fun continues as these four girls try to make the best of a bad situation on the deserted island. There are some hilarious moments in this series and it’s only just getting started. Learn all about survival and why it’s necessary to build a shower… Lynn was determined to cover this series and it’s not hard to see why.
YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World (Episode 13) – An Ordained Fate
The Eriko arc continues and things are starting to make sense… well, somewhat. This series is a maze of information and mysteries. Lynn will be the first to tell you to watch it, especially as it seems like it’s been given a miss by a lot of people. If you enjoy intriguing mysteries, parallel universes, and good looking girls, then this is the series for you.
Maou-sama, Retry! (Episode 3) – Character Change!
While Kunai has managed to figure some things out in the city with the help of his newest companion, the Holy Maiden Luna, he still has to make some money before they set off for the capital. While in the city he comes across the Killer Queen, another Holy Maiden and Luna’s sister. When a group of cultists attack and Kunai’s ring attempts to take control of his body, he’s forced to… change characters!
Love Hina (Episode 7) – Introducing… Kentaro
Naru has officially graduated from high school, and one of her classmates has decided the last day of school is the perfect time to put his long-standing plan into action in order to make Naru his girlfriend. He’s rich, he’s smart, but he’s also stupid – introducing Keitaro’s new rival, Kentaro!
How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? (Episode 3) – Sensei’s on a Diet, Too?
Another of the new seasonal shows that Lynn wanted to cover and again it’s not hard to see why. What was quite unexpected though was the level of educational material. Seriously, why is all education available in ecchi anime format. There’s no way anyone would forget any of it. On top of that, this series is hilarious. Definitely worth a look.
No Game No Life (Episode 6) – Materialization Shiritori
Sora and Shiro head out to Elkia’s former library in order to reclaim it from the flugel that currently inhabits it – Jibril. After introductions, Jibril introduces the pair to the game they will be playing, Materialization Shiritori. What ensues is an exciting game of twists, turns, and ecchi!
YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World (Episode 14) – The Transfer Student’s Friend
Having completed the Eriko arc, Takuya finds himself back at the beginning yet again. This time, it’s going to be Kanna’s turn to take the spotlight and this promises to be another dark and mysterious arc. It’s all starting to come together. Everything is linked and cleverly weaved into one enthralling series. At least, that’s what Lynn would say. Let us know what you think.
Ao-chan Can’t Study (Season One)
It’s another season review and this time it’s the final sendoff for Ao-chan and her father. Seriously, forget Kijima, Ao’s father was the real star of the series. It’s funny because Lynn really wasn’t too sure about him, to begin with. It’s a fun and endearing series full of sexual humour and occasional fan-service.
It’s been another amazing week here at Ecchi Hunter. Obviously, we’re a little sad to see Why the hell are you here, Teacher!? and Ao-chan Can’t Study come to an end, but with all the new shows we’re covering, hopefully, you’ll find something to fill the void. Thanks again for stopping by and don’t forget to let us know if there’s anything you think we should be watching.
