YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World (Episode 18) – Twilight in Dela Granto

YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of This World Title

Takuya finds himself in a strange new world called Dela Granto complete with monsters and elves… I bet he never saw this coming! I certainly didn’t!

Twilight in Dela Granto

It’s not long before Takuya runs into a beautiful young elf and saves her from a weird flying monster. He soon discovers that she can’t speak, but they manage to establish her name as Sayless (seriously a mute called Sayless). Together, they find a small house on the edge of a vast and apparently endless desert. They go in a see if anyone is there.

Another attractive elf jumps them and pulls a sword on Takuya, but she passes out before being able to use it. She wakes later to find that she’s naked and Takuya is sitting beside her bed. She pulls her sword once more, but Takuya reassures her that Sayless took care of her and not him.

Ailia introduces herself and then takes Takuya on a tour of the area, which is the border between there world and another. Every four-hundred years a wave on monsters enter their world and it’s her job to stop them. She used to have company, but now it’s just her.

Episode Thoughts

Don’t panic, this is still YU-NO. It may not look like it and other than Takuya and the chat with his father at the beginning, you may not recognize anyone, but it is YU-NO. After a week break, it would appear that this series has now turned into an Isekai. Well, almost, but it certainly is going to keep things interesting for the remainder of the series. I can’t wait to see where we’re going with this.
